Team Tequila - Philip

Our first Team Tequila member, Philip took his yellow Tequila! out for the first time at the first Singapore’s Informal Kayak Fishing competition off Pasir Ris.

Philip who had a heart operation looks totally relaxed as he paddled for 2km across the channel to Palau Ubin.

He decided to bypassed the rest of the kayak fishing members, who had stopped to try their luck at a sunken kelong and anchor himself comfortably at drop-off, just in front of the island.

Fishing at a depth of 6m of waters ... he managed his best ever catch on a kayak since the day he started kayak fishing on a kayak. For 4 hours of fishing at a single spot ... he brought home a handsome Barramundi and a Snapper. He also had a big miss too ..... The fish brought a one way ticket to the depth before straightening his hook, as he tighten his hold on the fish.

For his effort ... he won the 2nd prize for the most valuable fish caught in the competition.

Well done Philip.
