Tequila Kayak Fishing Backrest / Rod Holder Design



The Herman Miller inspired design of a kayak fishing back rest for the brand new Point 65 Tequila. It was the envy of all my buddies with the air cooled high back rest for kayak fishing.

I have replaced the standard backrest with PVC pipes, joints and a netted back support.

Equipment required:
- 25mm, 32mm and 40mm PVC pipes and connectors.
- PVC Glue
- Saw


Plan: To secure the rod holders into this 2 holes.

    You can buy one of the back support from Challenger, Shell Petrol Station or some of the neighborhood wholesale centre. Ranging from $3 to $39.90!!
